Since the launch of our first specialty coffee roastery and bakehouse on March 15, 2020, in a beautifully restored 1925 Goan bungalow in Mumbai, Subko has been dedicated to elevating the Indian Subcontinent as a key player in the global specialty coffee and craft baking movements.

Subko’s mission is to highlight the diverse and rich flavors of the Indian Subcontinent. We aim to foster a genuine Asian specialty coffee movement and position the region prominently on the global stage. At Subko, we honor the craft from cherry to cup, crop to craft, and pod to bar.

We are committed to sourcing SCA 85+ quality specialty coffee from Asia. Our in-house ‘Arabica Q Grader’ guides our team to ensure superior quality through precise sourcing and roasting. We roast small batches of meticulously sourced Specialty Arabica and Robusta, focusing on diverse coffee estates and smallholder plantations across India.
